There is a great deal of information out there on passing the PMP exam. However, they generally boil down to: plan your work and work your plan. It is like the magic formula for weight loss: eat less and exercise more. So, what you need is a plan, and as a prospective PMP, this is a good development opportunity for you. You will receive a lot of valuable and free information, as well as 2.5 hours of free pure project management training, if you Try for Free!

See below for more details.
Here are our top 10 ideas for passing the PMP exam:
1.
Be willing to spend plenty of time and some money; think
carefully before you spend your money, as you cannot "buy" a PMP. Our
PMP Prep package is thorough, comprehensive, and reasonably priced, helping to
make your study time efficient.
2.
Study hard, and study often. Our PMP Prep package is
available 24x7 in your home or at work, and does not require you to schedule
time off.
3.
Be open-minded to learning a framework that will take you
beyond your experience. Our PMP Prep package is completely PMI-aligned,
so you will learn the PMI approach and framework very well.
4.
Collaborate with others who are also preparing for the exam -
colleagues, personal contacts, a study group, or an online forum. Find
some people in your local PMI chapter, and check out online forums to save
time and money.
5.
Create a project plan for your test preparation - one that fits
your learning style - and stick with your plan. We suggest you pace
yourself in a steady and disciplined manner through the material, over a time
period with which you feel comfortable, and actually practice sound project
management. Use the PMI approach!
6.
Study information from multiple sources: books, web sites,
online courses, practice questions, audio courses, classroom courses, etc. You
do not necessarily need it all. However, multiple varied sources are helpful,
and our online courses combined with the PMP Exam Simulation provide variety
that is structured to help you pass the exam.
7.
Practice what you are learning on the job, at home, or as a
volunteer as soon as possible. This is up to you. The more you
"internalize" and take "ownership" of the material, the better prepared you
will be for the exam and as a project management professional!
8.
Attend PMI chapter meetings to "plug yourself in" to the
professional project management arena. Our PMP Prep package helps you to
master the material. You will want to advance your career by getting involved
with fellow professioanls in the field.
9.
Exercise regularly to sharpen your mind and body. We
don't provide that! We strongly encourage you, and believe that it will help
you in every way!
10.
With all of the hard work, maintain the balance in your life by
remembering your personal priorities, and keep true to them. We hope our
programs are helpful to you in reaching your goals and keeping your
perspective!

Courses making up the PMP® Premium Exam Prep Bundles can be purchased individually, and all individual courses are PMBOK® Guide - 3rd Edition-aligned. The fact that there are 59 hours of training is one of the key differences with the 35 Hour Special.
The 35 Hours Special is made up of 2 "Series" of courses, and indivudal courses cannot be purchased separately. One of the series, which contains 12 hours of training, is PMBOK® Guide - 3rd Edition-aligned. The other series, which contains 22 hours of training, is about general project management and not PMBOK-aligned, although it does qualify for part of the 35 hours of required training.
The PMP exam simulation is used in 40 countries, was the first for the new PMP exam, is updated regularly, and is sold in PMI’s own bookstore! It is designed for quality to give you the peace of mind that this is close to what you will encounter on the PMP exam.
